As a future teacher this was a very concerning article. A 12 year old boy was beaten to death by his
teacher. This poor child who was in
school trying to better his life and become educated was killed because he made
a mistake. It makes me analyze using
punishment in American schools and while I have previously thought that it wouldn’t
be a terrible thing to bring back “hacks” this article made me remember that
times have changed and using punishment would be completely unnecessary.
