On April 15, 2015 the Egyptian court backed the decision to
deport a man who was imprisoned in 2008 for allegedly being homosexual. It blows my mind that a government would
agree to deport a man solely because of his sexual preference. I guess I thought the whole world was
becoming more accepting of sexual identity, but this case makes me rethink
that. I am proud to be from one of the
first states to legalize gay marriage and I hope that soon it is legal in all
parts of the world.
